Common questions
- Where is my progress stored?
- On your iPhone. Beatcode’s widgets and the Apple Watch app use the same progress. You don’t need to create a Beatcode account. If you sign in to Game Center, your trophies and best scores also appear there.
- How do I start over?
- Settings (the gear on the home screen) → Reset all progress.
- How do reminders work?
- Turn on Daily reminder in Settings and pick a time. You’ll get at most one nudge a day, and none on days you’ve already practiced.
- Which programming language is used?
- Code steps use Python, the most common interview language.
Beatcode Pro
- What’s free and what’s Pro?
- The seven core lessons and their practice boards, challenges, Radar questions and real interview problems are free. Pattern cards, trophies, your streak, reminders, widgets and Game Center are also free. Beatcode Pro unlocks the remaining lessons and their content on iPhone, Apple Watch and widgets.
- How do I pay?
- Purchases go through Apple and are billed to your Apple Account. Beatcode never sees your payment details. Prices are set for each country, so you’ll see yours in the app.
- How do I cancel?
- On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Beatcode Pro, or in Beatcode go to Settings → Beatcode Pro → Manage Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and if you cancel during the free trial you won’t be charged.
- I reinstalled Beatcode or got a new iPhone. How do I get Pro back?
- Sign in with the same Apple Account, then go to Settings → Beatcode Pro → Restore Purchases.
- Pro isn’t showing on my Apple Watch.
- Open Beatcode on your iPhone once so it can tell your watch, then reopen Pattern Radar on your watch. Both devices need the same Apple Account.
- Can I get a refund?
- Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Pro turns off once the refund goes through.
